Switching organisations
In WastePro, an organisation is a business account — its own customers, sites, services, runs and finances, kept completely separate from every other business.
Most people only ever work in one. But some logins cover more than one organisation — for example if you manage several related businesses, or a head office oversees a few branches. If that’s you, this page explains how to move between them.
Your active organisation
At any moment you’re working inside one organisation — your active organisation. It’s shown in the card at the very top of the sidebar, with the business name (and its logo, if it has one).
Everything you see — every customer, every run, every figure — belongs to that active organisation. Nothing from your other organisations is mixed in.
Switching
Open the organisation card
Select the organisation card at the top of the sidebar. If your login covers more than one business, it opens a “Switch organisation” list showing each one, with a tick next to the one you’re in now.
Choose the organisation you want
Select another business from the list.
WastePro reloads for that organisation
You’ll see a brief full-screen “switching…” message while WastePro reloads everything for the newly chosen business. When it clears, the whole app — menu, screens and figures — is showing that organisation’s data.
If your login only covers one organisation, the card at the top is just a label — there’s nothing to switch, and you can ignore this page.
Because switching changes which business’s data you’re looking at, it’s worth a quick glance at that top card before you make changes — so you’re always editing the right organisation’s records.
